Justin Brill has performed for his family on Broadway, The Metropolitan Opera, Madison Square Garden, National Tours, Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago and many other cities around the country. Julia Osborne*

Julia OsborneJulia made her theatrical debut here at ASGT in 1992 in Talent Machine 5 and is honored to return in support of Save the Coconuts. Just last year, Julia performed professionally in the Annapolis area in A Little Night Music (Anne) at Baltimore’s Centerstage. Since graduating from Penn State with a BFA in musical theatre, she has performed at some of the country’s most respected regional theatres. Some of these include: Huntington Theatre Co: Pirates! (Edith); Goodspeed Opera House: Pirates! (Edith), Half A Sixpence (Helen); Paper Mill Playhouse: Pirates! (Edith), Meet Me In St. Louis (Rose), The Baker’s Wife. Fulton Opera House: Crazy for You (Polly), Rags, Evita. PA Centre Stage: Dames At Sea (Ruby). Internationally, Julia spent two years at Tokyo Disney and has also performed on board the Disney Cruise Line. A member of Actor’s Equity Association, she currently resides in New York City where she also teaches yoga to adults and children.

Alan OstroffAlan Ostroff*

Alan Ostroff has performed regionally in roles including Jesus in Superstar, Motel in Fiddler, and Riff in West Side Story. Favorite NYC credits include Henrik in A Little Night Music, Vicar Bones in Charles and Diana (Midtown Festival 2005), and the starring role in a comedy he wrote, Tradition (FringeNYC 2006). He made his directorial debut with the drama Social Work by Cara Burdick, produced at the Manhattan Rep Theaterfest 2007. Alan is a board member of Arts for All, Inc., a wonderful organization you can read more about in his wife Anna's bio. He writes and directs Arts for All's children's shows, such as The Tall Tales of Enoch, in which Justin Brill has played the title role. Alan is a graduate of NYU/Tisch School of the Arts, with a BFA in Drama, and is a member of Actor's Equity. Alan is proud to be performing at the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre, especially in support of such a worthy cause. Love to Anna!

Danielle PastinDanielle Pastin

Danielle Pastin received her Bachelor's of Music degree in Voice/Opera from the University of Maryland and has since been the recipient of numerous awards. She is currently in her second season as a resident artist with the Pittsburgh Opera Company. She recently made her Pittsburgh Opera main stage debut in the East Coast premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's epic opera; The Grapes of Wrath, where she triumphed as the empathetic, yet powerfully strong-willed heronie Rosasharn. She also enjoyed a very successful performance of Mimi in La Boheme with the Pittsburgh Opera Company. Danielle has been a member of various other young artist programs, including the Intermezzo Opera Festival training program where she performed the role of Nannetta in Verdi's Falstaff. Anna RobertsAnna Roberts*

Anna Roberts holds a BFA from NYU/Tisch/Cap21. Anna has performed at multiple regional, stock, and NYC theatres, including: Crown Uptown Theatre, Fort Salem Theatre, Barn Theatre, Allenberry Playhouse, Great American Melodrama, Park Theatre, Playwrights Horizons (NYC), Producers Club (NYC), The Players Theater (NYC), The Workshop Theater Company (NYC), CAP21 Theatre (NYC), The Flea Theater (NYC). Favorite roles: Hodel–Fiddler, Belle-A Christmas Carol, Woman 2-My Way, Sarah-Guys and Dolls, Luisa- Fantasticks, Jessica-Tradition! Anna has also worked as a producer on a number of NYC-based productions. Anna is the Founder and Executive Director of Arts For All, Inc., a non-profit arts outreach organization serving in-need children. Anna is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association, and is honored to be a part of this wonderful benefit. Thank you, Justin! Love to my husband, Alan, and my family!

 

Steven StraffordSteven Strafford*

Steven Strafford is grateful for this opportunity to honor Julia's memory by performing here tonight. He had the good fortune to share the stage with Mr. Justin Brill in Spamalot at the Wynn Las Vegas. He recently toured Asia as the Herald in Cinderella starring Lea Salonga (he also stood on the Great Wall of China which was awesome!)

 

 

 

 

 

the "Anchor Sisters"

The "Anchor Sisters" are a female vocal trio, comprised of  current Sea Chanter vocalists and devoted to singing Andrews Sisters Classics. They have performed all over the U.S. and for dignitaries such as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Chief of Naval Operations.  The trio also appear as the "Ragg Dolls" when they perform with "Raggs and the All Stars;" a popular event band in the area.  Most recently Raggs and the Ragg Dolls delighted the audience at an intimate party hosted by Madame Secretary, Hillary Clinton and former President, Bill Clinton. The Anchor Sisters are thrilled to be a part of this special evening. The Anchor Sisters are:

Amanda Polychronis graduated with a Master's degree from Arizona State University. After enjoying a seven year operatic career touring the nation she joined the US Navy Band Sea Chanters in 2006.  Amanda has been teaching private voice to students of all ages since 1998 and currently sings with the Raggs and the All-Stars.
Casey Elliott graduated with a Master's degree from Texas Tech University and joined the US Navy Band Sea Chanters in 2005. She directs the Dayspring Choir at Metropolitan Memorial UMC. She currently sings with the Potomac River Chorale, Raggs and the All-Stars, and The Congress, a local cover band. 
Jennifer Stothoff graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Towson University and joined the Navy Band Sea Chanters Chorus in 2002. She also sings with Raggs and the All Stars. She lives in Baltimore with her husband, daughter, and two stepsons. She and her husband are expecting their fourth in October.
